Boy, 15, beats his mother to death and dismembers her body after she confiscates his tablet so he can do his homework

A teenage boy shot dead his mother after she confiscated his tablet to make him do his homework, Russian police said.

The 15-year-old, who has not been named, repeatedly hit her on the head as she lay in bed at their home near Moscow, reports said.

He then ‘chopped her up’ before nailing her bedroom door shut and quietly going to his local shop in the village of Krasnaya Storozhka to buy chocolate.

The boy is said to have been playing Minecraft before turning himself in to police in nearby Sergiev Posad, about 74 kilometers northeast of Moscow.

The dead woman has been named as Alexandra Gabbasova, 48, an accountant at a furniture factory.

She began to worry that her son was playing online games for up to twelve hours a day and neglecting his school homework.

“His mother discovered that the 15-year-old had neglected his homework while he was on sick leave (from school) and made a scene,” news channel Mash reported.

“She took all his cords, his phone and tablet.

‘The teenager was offended, found an ax and chopped his mother into pieces with it.

“Then he went to the police and confessed to killing her.”

Officers said she was killed four hours before they arrived on the scene.

According to Telegramkoor 112, the boy hit his mother ‘randomly, chaotically’ with the ax.

After buying chocolate and playing games, he used the search engine to find the nearest police station and reported that he had killed his mother.

The 15-year-old is being held and is described by his teachers as ‘quiet’ and a student who was ‘studying normally’.
