Cult-favorite boxer Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch has revealed a stunning weight loss transformation on his Instagram page.
The 57-year-old, who was a former IBA super heavyweight champion, said he weighed 515 pounds about 18 months to two years ago.
But in a video posted Thursday, the slimmer-looking boxer stepped on the scale and revealed he weighed 303.8 pounds — a whopping 212 pounds less than his previous weight.
Butterbean also once tipped the scales at an astonishing 417 pounds prior to a 2007 fight against Joe Siciliano.
Butterbean credited his transformation to working out with DDP Yoga, a program started by former WWE wrestler Diamond Dallas Page.

The boxer, seen in August 2020, said he had previously weighed a whopping 515 pounds
According to the company websiteDDPY workouts are “uniquely designed to strengthen muscles, ligaments and tendons while stabilizing core muscles, increasing flexibility, agility and balance.”
Butterbean last fought in 2013, when he pulled out of a fight vs. Kirk Lawton due to a shoulder injury.
However, Esch claimed last year that he was about to make a comeback in boxing nine years after hanging up his gloves – and wasted no time calling out Jake Paul.
“I’m at fighting weight. You’ll have to listen to my upcoming podcast to see exactly how much weight I’ve lost, but I haven’t weighed this in over 20 years, so that gives you an idea.
“The big announcement is that I will be fighting one last fight. It’s about a year away. Jake Paul, when you’re ready, I’m here for you my friend. Let’s get started, me and you Jake Paul.”
Butterbean hasn’t fought since making that claim in June 2022, while Paul – now 6-1 as a boxer – will face Nate Diaz tonight in Dallas.
