Bournemouth’s Phillip Billing scored the second fastest goal in Premier League history after opening the scoring against Arsenal after just nine seconds, 11 milliseconds.

Billing gave the Cherries a surprising lead over Premier League leaders Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The effort of the Dutch midfielder has been the official record as the second fastest goal in the Premier League.

His effort still falls short of Shane Long’s record goal, having scored for Southampton against Watford in 7.69 seconds in 2019.
