Bournemouth make January transfer decision on Max Aarons as interest grows across Europe for the former Norwich full-back

Bournemouth will let Max Aarons leave on loan this month due to interest from a number of clubs in Europe.

The full-back, who joined the Cherries in 2023, has seen his first-team opportunities limited under Andoni Iraola this season, making just three appearances so far, including just one start.

And the Premier League club are willing to let the right-back leave the club in January.

Clubs in France, Italy and Spain have initially expressed interest in the 25-year-old. Ligue 1 club Lille is among the interested teams.

Aarons joined from Norwich in 2023 with a reputation as one of the best emerging full-backs in English football.

But his career has stalled on the south coast this season and a move to secure more regular first-team football could benefit all parties.
