‘Sh*t happens!’ Horrific Moment Boston Marathon Runner Caught On Doorbell Camera POOING On Stranger’s Front Yard During 26.2 Mile Race

  • The embarrassing moment was caught on camera during the race on Monday
  • The clip shows the runner dropping his shorts and crouching on a front yard
  • Social media users have flocked to the video, joking, “free fertilizer!”

Horrifying video footage has revealed the moment a Boston marathoner was caught defecating on a stranger’s front yard during Monday’s 26.2-mile race.

The runner was photographed in the compromising position by a homeowner’s doorbell camera — which showed the person dropping his shorts and squatting on the grass.

A few seconds after the footage was captured, the long-distance runner appears to be spotted by a passerby who walks towards them on the lawn before stopping.

The pair then appear to have an awkward stand-off, with the spectator walking towards the runner before appearing to hesitate and quickly step back again.

The spectator is then joined by another person – before the runner sheepishly pulls up his shorts and is able to quickly escape back to the race by chopping through some trees at the edge of the yard.

Nearly 30,000 athletes from more than 100 countries took part in the annual race from Hopkinton, Massachusetts, to downtown Boston on Monday.

According to the New York Postthe video was originally posted on Reddit, with the homeowner captioning the footage: “One of the marathon runners just took a *** in my yard.”

The video has reportedly been removed from Reddit but can still be viewed on Twitter.

Since then, users have flocked to the social media site to express their disgust and horror at the video, while others found it entertaining.

One person quipped, “Free fertilizer,” while another wrote, “S*** happens!”

“This is very unfortunate,” wrote another. “This runner should know better and there were plenty of port-o-potties on the track.”

Restrooms are located “at every water and medical station, as well as other locations along the course,” according to the marathon’s official site.

The site added, “Please respect the communities the Boston Marathon passes through by using these facilities when necessary.”

This year’s race marked the tenth anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombing, which killed three people and injured hundreds.

Brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev planted two homemade pressure cooker bombs which detonated near the finish of the race.

The bombs killed Martin Richard, Lingzi Lu, 23, and Krystle Campbell, 29. MIT police officer Sean Collier, 27, was later shot dead by the bombers, and Boston police officer Dennis Simmonds, 28, died a year after being wounded in the manhunt that followed the attack.

Friends of Martin Richard, who was eight when he was killed that day, ran the race in his honor this year.
