School shooting rampage leaves three dead as cops descend on scene in Bosnia

A gunman has killed three staff members after opening fire with an automatic weapon at a school in Bosnia, local media reported.

Three employees of a secondary school in the western town of Sanski Most were killed when a man who also worked at the school opened fire around 10:15 a.m., according to regional police.

A fourth person, believed to be the attacker, was seriously injured. Bosnian media reported that he attempted suicide after the attack.

The injured person was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he is said to be in serious condition.

Police and emergency services are on site.

The shooter is believed to have been a janitor at the school, Bosnian media reports, while the victims have been identified as the school principal, secretary and a female teacher. The details of those involved have not been confirmed by the police.
