Tennis star Boris Becker has been branded ‘a demon’ who ‘thinks the world revolves around him’ by his ex-wife following his release from prison.

Dutch model Sharlely Kerssenberg, 46, said Becker had stopped paying child support for her 13-year-old son Amadeus.

Becker, a three-time Wimbledon champion, has been released from jail in the UK and deported to Germany after spending seven and a half months behind bars.

Becker had been sentenced to 30 months in prison for concealing his assets after declaring bankruptcy.

Kerssenberg, who had filed for divorce, criticized her husband for neglecting their family, saying he had “ruined his reputation” with his jail sentence.

She told the German newspaper Bild: “Boris can be charming and loving when he wants to, but also extremely hurtful with words.” A devil.

“Prison didn’t make Boris a better person. Boris lives in his world where everything revolves around Boris Becker.’

She added: ‘It’s not my fault that he went to prison. He ruined his reputation all by himself.

Boris doesn’t care if we’re doing it right or wrong. We used to have an honest love.

‘When I began to emancipate myself in marriage, there were discussions. Also because of Boris’s lies about his finances.

Asked if he said Becker was capable of showing love, he said: “Boris loves his children and his mother.” In the way that love is possible for him.

Kerssenberg also said Becker had not called his son for 10 days after his release from prison until Christmas Day, when he spoke to the 13-year-old boy for two minutes on the phone.

The model doesn’t even know her estranged husband’s current address, making the divorce process with no set court date difficult.

His lawyer said Becker “does not provide any reliable information about the current state of affairs.”

After his release from jail, Becker gave an interview to German broadcaster Sat1 in which he described his ordeal in jail.

He said: ‘I thought I was going to lose my life at Wandsworth.

‘Someone, a murderer I found out later, wanted my coat and he wanted money and he said he would kill me if I didn’t get it.

Then in Huntercombe another killer said he wanted to kill me. My food tray was shaking.

Asked if he still loves the former tennis star in an interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV in May, Kerssenberg said: “Of course I do, we all love him.” Lillian [Becker’s girlfriend] loves it.

‘Barbara [his first wife] loves it. Amadeus loves it’.

Becker won his first Wimbledon championship in 1985 at just 17 years old, becoming the youngest player to do so.

He went on to win two more titles there, earning an estimated £38 million.

Becker won three Wimbledon championships during his time as a player, including his first when he was just 17 years old.
