Bordertown: Police officer among two seriously injured in shooting in South Australia

A police officer is one of two people seriously injured after a shooting in South Australia.

Police were “confronted with an armed suspect” at a property in Senior, near Bordertown on the Victorian border, about 11.20pm on Thursday, South Australia police said.

A shooting then took place, in which two people were injured.

Initial reports indicate an officer and another person have been shot.

A helicopter was flown to the scene.

Police say there is no further threat to the community.
