Two people were taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.

No other aircraft occupants required the assistance of paramedics.

It is clear that the plane had to land and that emergency services were on standby.

A Bonza spokeswoman said the airline would investigate the incident on board flight AB570 from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast.

“All customers and crew members are doing well and have disembarked while the pilots are undergoing preventive checks.”

“The aircraft is currently being assessed by engineers.”
