A popular pizza chain is on the brink of collapse, with more than a hundred jobs at stake.

Bondi Pizza has appointed administrators who are looking for a buyer at the chain.

The companies that have fallen into administration include Casual Dining Concepts (Holdings) Pty Ltd and Casual Dining Concepts (Leasing) Pty Ltd.

Casual Dining Concepts (stores) Pty Ltd, Casual Dining Concepts (trade) Pty Ltd, Bondi Pizza Bar & Grill (Macquarie) Pty Ltd, Bondi Pizza Bar & Grill (Parramatta) Pty Ltd and Bondi Pizza Bar & Grill (Eastgardens) Pty Ltd are also on the list.

The companies are all owned by the restaurant’s sole director Gary Linz.

There are three Bondi Pizza restaurants in NSW, located in Parramatta, Macquarie Center in Macquarie Park and a restaurant in the East Gardens of Westfield in Sydney’s south east.

Johnathan Keenan and Peter Krejci of insolvency firm BRI Ferrier were appointed as administrators.

Mr Keenan and Mr Krejci took over the business last Friday, considering all options to save the company and the restaurant’s 120 employees.

There are currently expressions of interest from potential buyers to take over the company.

Efforts are also being made to restructure the company.

The restaurant is said to have been hit by difficult trading conditions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
