Bondi Icebergs restaurateur Maurice Terzini splits from ‘soulmate’ second wife Emma Addams less than a year after star-studded Sydney wedding

Restauranteur Maurice Terzini has divorced his second wife Emma Addams.

Less than a year after their extravagant wedding in Bondi, the 58-year-old owner of the iconic Bondi Icebergs has parted ways with the Heart of Bone jewelery designer.he Daily Telegraph.

The couple celebrated their wedding at the Bondi Icebergs venue last November, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

However, it is now clear that Terzini and his partner have since decided to go their separate ways.

Their intimate wedding a year ago was attended by a host of Sydney celebrities, including Sneaky Sound System’s Angus McDonald and Connie Mitchell and PE Nation’s Pip Edwards.

Also in attendance were models Tyrone Dylan Susman and Hannah Elise, and influential Sydney publicist Maria Farmer.

A statement from the couple at the time read: “Mr and Mrs Terzini. Yesterday, in an intimate moment on a construction site on top of the Pacific Ocean, we celebrated love and unity among our family and friends. I DO’.

Terzini said Confidential at the time Icebergs was the only wedding venue he was considering.

‘It wasn’t a location we could have rented to anyone. We had to bring everything in,” he said.

“We wanted to do it there because it’s my spiritual home. We didn’t have a kitchen, we cooked on a barbecue.

‘For us it was the fact that we could be there that was important. It was a beautiful day.’

Ahead of their happy day, the restaurant mogul called the accessories designer his “soulmate.”

‘She’s the one. We have inherited a beautiful Brady family,” he told Confidential.

Terzini admitted that he had “sacrificed my family for work,” but insisted that things were different for him and Addams.

“I’ve been divorced three times, but I now have a beautiful relationship with Emma,” he said earlier this year.

Owned by first-generation Australian Terzini, Bondi Icebergs is known for its celebrity clientele, expansive views and ‘high-end’ atmosphere.

Icebergs reopened just before Christmas last year after being closed for months for much-needed repairs and upgrades.

“I’m 58. After 20 years I would always pull the pin, that was my field of vision,” Terzini said recently.

‘With the restorations – that’s what we call them instead of renovations – it’s just too good to give away now.

“That really pushed me to get this grade two. It’s not really a new Icebergs, some additions have been made to it, we’ve fixed everything.

‘We had to put on a new roof, health and safety issues had become important. In the last week of service we had 37 leaks. We can’t have that. We’re not a café further away.’

Earlier this year the eatery was called out for a £68 bowl of pasta after a customer ranted about whether it was ‘really worth it’.

Special K Gourmet, a self-confessed foodie from Sydney, said she booked for the restaurant’s sunset session when she decided to check out the menu.

“I get the cost of living, I get the cost of staff and rent and all that stuff goes in, but is $68 for a bowl of pasta worth it?” she asked.

The two pasta dishes priced at $68 include the ragu and the seafood spaghetti.

Terzini, who comes from humble beginnings and has long defended his position in the industry, told Ny Breaking at the time that there are “many more options” on the menu, not just the $68 pasta dishes.

“It’s your choice whether you spend ten dollars or a thousand dollars on it,” he said.

“Is a $10,000 Chanel bag still worth it in this climate?” he asked.

He also said the $68 price is “for the Sunday menu only” and reflects higher wages for the last day of the week.

He also said it ‘includes GST’, which guests should take into account.
