Ms. Green took legal action to receive her fee for the film, claiming that she was not at fault for its disappearance.

Sparks flew during the summer of 2019 after the film’s producers haggled over pay rates to meet the demands of Ms. Green’s preferred team. In an email to the film’s director, Dan Pringle, in August 2019, Ms Green wrote: ‘F*** he [Mr Seal]… We need to get the ****holes [out] by Monday… I can’t believe Idiot Jake… pure vomit.’

White Lantern claims that Ms. Green “had no intention or desire to complete production…and tried to undermine or thwart it” while appearing to fulfill her contractual obligations to pocket her fee.
