A man was found dead on railway tracks in Sydney early on Sunday morning.
The body was found at Wollstonecraft station, six kilometers north of the city’s CBD, at around 4.40am.
The train station was cordoned off early Sunday morning while police investigated.
“Initial information provided to officers at North Shore Police Area Command indicates the incident appears to have been an accident,” a police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
“The man is yet to be identified and inquiries continue.”
Trains on the North Shore line were canceled for an hour due to the incident, but started running again around 6:30 am.
