A body positive influencer revealed the hard and “incredibly stressful” truth about running her bikini company Moana Bikini on Saturday.

Karina Irby shared behind-the-scenes photos from her latest photoshoot on Instagram, sharing what it’s really like to run her own business.

The fashion designer says that after 10 years of running her business, she sometimes needs a sleeping pill to rest, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I started my business over 10 years ago and I have never looked back! Every day I get to do this! Work,” she captioned a photo of herself posing with one of her models.

‘Don’t get me wrong… It’s incredibly stressful, non-stop, and some nights I need a sleeping pill to stop my brain from thinking.

‘But I also get to work with the most amazing people who all share the same passion as I do.

“The goal is to create a space where women not only feel comfortable in their own skin, but also in a community that understands and supports them.”

Karina went on to say that her most recent studio shoot, in which she promoted her latest colorful bikini line, was a “perfect reminder” of how “happy” she is.

“I may not have all the answers and there will certainly be challenges along the way, but I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything,” she continued.

‘I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in women’s lives, even in the smallest ways.

“So here’s to many more years of hard work, passion and creating a supportive community for women everywhere. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.”

The owner of popular swimwear brand Moana Bikini, who often produces content in skimpy bikinis and underwear, complained about the negative reactions she received online.

“The internet sucks. People suck. I know I’ve let people down in the past, but I always do my best, for myself and others,” she wrote.

The Gold Coast influencer also claimed that “putting your life online” is one of the hardest things she’s ever done.

Karina indicated that it is not good for her health to post online, but she continues anyway.

“The constant criticism, attacks and bullying I have had to endure here is heartbreaking,” she wrote.

Karina ended her lengthy tirade to her 1.1 million followers with a message of mindfulness and consideration.

“People need to practice being more open-minded. If someone behaves a certain way or does something you don’t agree with, think about WHY they did that.

“Be kind. You never know what someone has been through or is going through,” the bikini model concluded.
