Body positive influencer Karina Irby sparked online debate on Thursday.
The controversial plus-size model, 33, shared a video with her 1.1 million Instagram followers of herself creating an Aussie lunch item.
“Every country has something weird that they like to eat and I believe this is Australia’s,” she stated.
The owner of swimwear brand Moana Bikini and star of OnlyFans used two wholemeal slices of bread to make a devon (sausage) sandwich before ‘drowning’ it in tomato sauce.
Fans were quick to express their love for the snack.

However, some users were not very impressed and explained that a key ingredient was missing.

‘Yes, dirty. I have never been able to tolerate this, nor have I ever given it to my children,” one person wrote.
“This is the only time a video of you has upset me,” another added.
Followers were also quick to point out that Devon is known by a variety of alternative names around the world.
The processed meat is often called ‘fritz’ in South Australia, ‘polony’ in Western Australia and ‘bologna’ in the US.
