Body of woman buried in Alderley unit block identified as Tanya Lee Glover eight months after remains found by cleaners at Brisbane complex
Months after the grim discovery, a woman’s body has been found, wrapped tightly in bedding and buried in a wall of besser blocks in Brisbane.
Last December, human remains were found by cleaners in the garage of an Alderley block in the north of the city.
Queensland homicide detectives, in conjunction with the Australian Federal Police, have been investigating the woman’s remains for the past eight months.
The woman has been identified as Tanya Lee Glover, 38.
Initial investigations indicate she moved to Queensland from NSW in 2006 and lived in Brisbane’s inner city Fortitude Valley until 2010. She was also visually and hearing impaired.

Researchers are now looking at Ms. Glover’s “interactions” between 2006 and 2010 and would like to hear from anyone who knew her during this period.
Ms. Glover was not formally known to the Queensland Police and there has never been a missing person report on her.
Police revealed at the time of the grim discovery that “there was trauma to the body.”
“Investigation has shown that the woman has been deceased for at least seven years and that her body was believed to have been in the block she was on at the beginning of December during that period,” said Detective Inspector Andrew Massingham.
Anyone with information on Ms Glover is urged to call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
