The body of a man was found in a house, prompting an investigation by homicide detectives.
Emergency services made the grim discovery after being called to an address belonging to Felix Crescent in Ringwood, Melbourne’s east, at 1:35am on Wednesday.
A team of forensic investigators followed and collected evidence as police tried to figure out what happened.

Homicide Squad detectives are now appealing for public help to determine the events surrounding the man’s death.
“The exact circumstances have yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing,” said a police spokeswoman.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.”
Local James Fricker described the street as quiet and said the commotion was “extraordinary” for the area.
“I’ve never seen anything like it this close to home,” he said.
‘Apart from the bus stop, it’s a very quiet street. It’s sad, it’s very sad, it’s terrible.’
Mr Fricker said he was walking his dog when he saw police vehicles parked in front of the house.
