Body of a teenage boy discovered in bushland at Wilton in Sydney’s southwest

The body of a teenage boy has been discovered in bushland in Sydney’s south-west.

The remains were located in bushland off Wilton Park Road in Wilton, about 80km south-west of Sydney’s CBD, about 7.25am on Saturday.

Although the identity has not yet been officially determined, the body is believed to be that of a teenage boy.

Police say the teen’s death is being treated as suspicious.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command have secured a crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police.

Wilton Park Road is currently closed.

Anyone who may have knowledge of the incident or has been in the area since 6pm on Friday is urged to contact Camden Police or Crime Stoppers.

Police are expected to hold a press conference about the discovery at 3 p.m.
