The Bodo/Glimt players had to walk to the Emirates for their clash with Arsenal on Thursday after their team bus got stuck in the area.

The Gunners defeated the Norwegian side 3-0 in the Europa League group stage thanks to goals from Eddie Nketiah, Rob Holding and Fabio Vieira.

But the Bodo/Glimt players were forced to make an unusual and unexpected change to their plans for kick-off when their bus became stuck in traffic and struggled to navigate the narrow streets of north London into close to the Emirates.

Bodo/Glimt was beaten 3-0 by Arsenal on Thursday in the group stage of the Europa League

As a result, they walked the last leg of their journey to the Emirates with their belongings among several thousand match fans.

Footage from the club’s official Twitter account shows their players getting off the team bus before joining the crowds of supporters heading for Thursday’s game.

The images were accompanied by the words: ‘The bus got stuck in the narrow streets and the last hundred meters we run our legs.’

Shortly after, a second video followed, captioned “Club on tour.”

It showed Bodo’s players walking alongside the fans going to the game, unaware that they were joined by the Norwegian side’s players on their journey to the ground.

Despite the defeat, the Bodo/Glimt believers traveled by the thousands and did not stop singing during the 90 minutes in the Emirates.
