Elsewhere in the interview, Bobby's father – who saw him in the finale – spoke of his pride for his son, but also warned him that there will always be ups and downs in the entertainment world they work in.
He said: 'It comes naturally to him. Bobby from the NTAs and actually obviously at EastEnders and everything he's done since he left school has been amazing.
“It's impossible for him to stay on that trajectory and part of me will wonder what happens when he hits that bump in the road. This sector is not easy.
“Everyone sitting at the table knows there will be highs and lows. That's what I'm here for.'
