- Boat from Indonesia arrived in Australia

A boat carrying at least a dozen people from Indonesia arrived in Australia unnoticed.
The crew was reportedly rescued by local Aboriginal people as the ship approached a remote stretch of the Anjo Peninsula, on the northern tip of Western Australia.
The group was believed to be in ‘poor condition’ and it is not known whether they are asylum seekers or fishermen.
Four of the group are believed to be missing because they crossed into the treacherous bushland, known to be inhabited by crocodiles.
Police are believed to have flown into Mungalalu-Truscott Air Base on Wednesday, near where the Wunambal Gaambera people found the arrivals.
