CCTV footage captures the terrifying moment a newly married groom on his new bridge is run over and killed by a BMW believed to be driven by an influencer.
The camera showed the victim, Fábio Toshiro, and his new bride Bruna Toshiro holding hands after they left festivities at a hotel and took a stroll along the seafront in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday evening.
As the couple approached the left lane, first a taxi and then a motorbike passed. At that moment, Fabio was suddenly hit by the luxury car driven by Vitor Vieira.
The impact threw him through the air and landed on top of the vehicle, which had slowed slightly.
Witnesses told Rio de Janeiro police that the occupants got out of the vehicle, lifted the newlywed man from the windshield, left him on the sidewalk and then fled.

Brazilian influencer Vitor Vieira is known for his soccer tricks. Now authorities are looking for him after he ran over a groom who was walking his bride with his vehicle, less than two hours after they got married in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.
Police have obtained a court-ordered arrest warrant for Vieira, who remains at large as of Monday.
The couple’s friend, Su Rodrigues, told a Brazilian news agency that the Toshiros were planning to visit Japan, home to Fabio’s paternal family.
“They were very excited about this trip,” Rodrigues said. “The wedding invitation was like a passport, it was Bruna’s idea.”
Fábio and Bruna were married at the farm in the western Guaratiba district of Rio de Janeiro and left the party around 10pm to return to the hotel.

Bruna Toshiro was supposed to travel to Japan for her honeymoon with her husband, Fábio Tashiro, who died in a car accident on Saturday night
Brazilian authorities are searching for influencer Vitor Vieira, who left the scene of an accident in which Fábio Tashiro was killed after hitting him and leaving his body on the road.
A video of the wedding day, taken by Rodrigues, shows Bruna and Fábio walking hand in hand with their backs to each other while Bruna gets her make-up done.
“Bruna’s dream was to get married on a sunny day, but it rained a lot and yet she was so happy that she didn’t complain about anything,” Rodrigues said. “She was just smiling and beaming. She was getting ready with her mother and they were very excited.”
Fabio was buried on Monday morning.
“Why did you leave me? I need you. You never hurt anyone,” a sad Bruna said at the funeral ceremony. “We will find him, we will find him, my love.”
Vieira rose to fame for his exploits as a freestyle footballer and often shared his content with over 280,000 followers on his Instagram, which has since been deactivated.
Police found his car in an apartment complex parking lot and impounded it as part of the investigation.
