A mom has sent hundreds of parents into hysterics by sharing her failed attempt at a popular breakfast trend.
Taking inspiration from a cookbook, Madison tried to impress her Bluey-obsessed children by making toast in the shape of Bingo – Bluey’s younger sister.
But the end result didn’t turn out as planned as Bingo’s face looks shocked rather than cute and cuddly.
“Our ‘attempt’ bingo toast,” Madison wrote, sharing images to the Bluey Mums Facebook group comparing what the toast should have looked like.
The children’s cartoon about Blue Heeler puppy Bluey and her adventures has become a global phenomenon since its start in 2018.
Expectation: Mum Madison wanted to make ‘Bingo toast’ (pictured) for her kids who are obsessed with the ABC cartoon Bluey
Reality: But the end result didn’t turn out as planned, as Bingo’s face looks shocked rather than cute and cuddly
The main difference between the inspiration and Madison’s version is the size of the blueberries, which were used for Bingo’s eyes and nose.
The blueberries chosen were too small, making it look like the character has big eyes and a puzzled look on her face.
The recipe itself is quite simple and requires few ingredients – including bread, banana, blueberries and peanut butter.
The breakfast idea came from the $12 Amazon book titled “Bluey and Bingo’s Fancy Restaurant Cookbook.”
Many parents were left in the lurch after seeing Madison’s attempt.
“Bingo has seen things,” one joked, another said, “Looks better than the picture I’d say!”
“It’s a thousand percent better than anything I could make, but Bingo also looks like she’s tweaking it [sic],” wrote a third.
Dozens of other moms have also tried making bingo toast themselves, with mixed results.
In one image Bingo looks more like a red fox than a blue heel dog, and in another she had red jelly eyes.

Despite their best efforts, other moms admitted they struggled too. But the end result turned out to be hilarious
Despite their best efforts, other moms admitted they struggled too. But regardless, their kids still enjoyed the bingo toast.
‘I have zero skills to do this stuff! But my daughter loved it and ate all the bread (she had been refusing bread for some time),’ one mother wrote.
“My daughter loved it though and that’s all that matters,” said another.
It comes after a young woman shared images of her “cake fail” after attempting to recreate a Bluey birthday cake made by professional baker Tegan “Tigga” Maccormack.
The dessert was meant to be easy to make, as it involves cutting a ready-made Woolworths mud cake and adding frosting on top.
Lucy, from Melbourne, decided to try it herself after seeing the video on TikTok, but found the execution more difficult than first thought and was disappointed with the result.
The original design looked cute and was made with icing to match the color of the character exactly, along with marshmallow eyes and waffle ears.
But Lucy’s version was nothing like the inspiration and instead appeared corrupted with a square waffle mouth and frosting melted all over.

Lucy shared an image of the hilarious final result on Facebook, writing, “Enjoy this absolute horror – it looked easy on TikTok.”
The wooden skewers protruding from the head were probably also used to hold the ears in place.
The end result sent hundreds of people into hysterics on Facebook, but some said their child would have loved this cake no matter what it looked like.
“This is the honesty I needed in my life,” one woman wrote, another said, “It’s very cute even though it’s not like the picture.”
“The two sticks just did it for me. But 10/10 for effort!’ a third wrote.
“I just showed my seven-year-old,” he says, “keep trying!” Then he says to me “but it looks so bad she probably has to eat it all.” It’s great,” added another.
Someone else said, ‘OMG, I really love it! It made me smile, thanks for sharing.’
