Blue Ivy left fans in hysterics over the weekend when it was revealed that the 10-year-old had bid $80,000 on a pair of Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings while attending a luxury auction.

The youngster, along with Beyonce, 41, and Jay-Z, 52, had shocked onlookers at the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night by throwing her paddle in the air as she entered the bidding war.

The move would have left her grandmother Tina Knowles-Lawson, 68, and Keke Palmer, 29, open-mouthed — but it’s not the first time such scenes have occurred.

The youngster has a history with the auction house, previously bidding $19,000 for the same event in 2019 when she was just six years old.

The art connoisseur bid on an acrylic painting of a young Sidney Poitier and she entered a bidding war with a mysterious rival.

That mysterious bidder turned out to be none other than Tyler Perry, 53, who didn’t even know he was bidding against a child.

“Someone else was bidding against me,” Perry later told NBC’s Today show after winning the bidding war with Blue Ivy. “I didn’t know who it was.”

“I look back and it’s her,” said the influential filmmaker. “She takes the paddle from Jay’s hand and Beyonce’s hand and she bids.”

Perry’s determination didn’t waver when he realized his competition was practically kindergarten. “This boy is not surpassing me today,” he said of his determination. “You’re going to learn today, girl, I’m getting this painting.”

While she may have missed the prize, Blue Ivy didn’t let it affect her confidence, and she quickly offered more money for the next item: a 36″ x 36″ artwork composed of deconstructed Indiana law books and California medical books, created by artist Samuel Levi Jones.

She was able to get hold of the tome for a cool $10,000.

The famous auctioneer for the gala that year was Star Jones, 60, and she explained how Blue Ivy’s passion for art developed.

“Her mom and dad have been talking about how you collect art and that’s a big deal for African Americans,” Jones said from the podium. The former host of The View added that this insight came directly from Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson.

Tina is a co-founder of the WACO Theater Center, which hosts the Wearable Art Gala every year to benefit WACO’s artistic and youth mentorship programs.

The annual charity event is a family affair, with Beyonce serving as honorary co-chair along with her sister Solange Knowles, 36.

The Carters never fail to make an impact every year and contribute to the cause with both their presence and their wallets.

Beyonce was decked out in Gucci for this year’s event, where she revealed her Renaissance World Tour kicks off next summer. The superstar donated the first round ticket to the gala and they reportedly sold for $150,000.

Blue Ivy was not responsible for bidding the astronomical price of the tickets.

Though she may only be 10 years old, Jay-Z and Beyonce’s first-born daughter has an estimated net worth of $500 million.

She has been in the spotlight all her life and was named “the most famous baby in the world” by Time magazine two days after her birth.

Her collaboration with Beyonce on the single Brown Skin Girl also earned her the title of youngest ever winner of a BET Award and the second youngest person to win a Grammy Award.
