Blondie’s Debbie Harry, 78, shows off her youthful complexion as she helps bandmate Chris Stein, 74, promote his memoir
Debbie Harry showed off her timeless look during a Q&A with fellow Blondie star Chris Stein about his latest, controversial memoir Under A Rock in New York City on Friday.
The rock star, 78, looked like she hadn’t aged a day as she showed off her very youthful complexion with just a hint of light makeup.
The songwriter, originally named Angela Trimble, looked stunning in a multi-coloured top and sky blue cardigan.
She was also spotted wearing a pair of striking black sunglasses as she answered questions from the audience.
Elsewhere, 74-year-old Chris appeared deeply engaged in an engaging conversation with the audience and wore purple-tinted sunglasses.

The pair attended the conversation event, which took place at Chris’s alma mater School of Visual Arts, to celebrate the release of the highly anticipated book.
Hosted by Blondie Creative Director Rob Roth, the event delved deeper into Chris’ creative journey and career, highlighting his artistic evolution, musical innovations and the indelible mark he has left on the cultural landscape.
Under A Rock is described as ‘a raw, unfiltered and personal memoir’ that offers a revealing look at ‘the man behind Blondie’.
It comes after former wild-child rocker Debbie recently revealed that her hellish days are behind her and she’s taken up knitting.
The former heroin addict previously said that she ‘tried everything’ during the heyday of her band Blondie.
She told The Big Issue: ‘I’m curious to see how I’ll react when I get back on the road as I haven’t done it for a few years.’
‘I’ve had to change my behavior over the years, and behavior is very difficult to change.
‘Nowadays I do on tour what the women at the front did during the French Revolution.
“I’m sitting there knitting and rocking back and forth.”
‘That’s what I do. I’ll take my knitting needles with me.’

She was last seen in New York City after being last seen in Sydney, following a performance at the Metro Theater on ANZAC Day.
The rocker, who had not performed a concert in Australia since 2017, was spotted shopping for souvenirs in the city.
Debbie and her band were in the country to headline the Pandemonium 2024 concerts in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, alongside Alice Cooper, Deep Purple and Placebo.
