Hundreds of teens started a brawl outside two Boston theaters after an offer for a $4 movie day, leading one to be evacuated.

AMC Theaters offered tickets to any movie of their choice for as little as $4, which ended in a massive teen fight.

Police were forced to close off District Avenue in Dorchester after multiple businesses were forced to close early for the night.

Cinemagoers claimed that they had to evacuate the theater after a large group of young people were involved in a fight.

Boston police arrested eight teens β€” two 12-year-olds, four 14-year-olds and two 17-year-olds β€” during a fight at an AMC theater in South Bay.

A spokesman said: ‘Officers have seen the large group of young people who caused disturbances. Several youths failed to disperse from the area and confronted officers.

As officers attempted to arrest suspects, they encountered resistance from other youths who began assaulting officers. Officers requested assistance from multiple counties and the Massachusetts State Police.”

Shoppers claim they saw many theatergoers turned away after the teen crowd grew too large for AMC and mall staff.

One told CBS news: ‘When we went to the movie theater, AMC, they were standing at the door.

“They said they’d shut down everything and we’d automatically get our tickets back.”

A second fight broke out near the AMC Boston Common movie theater in which a teenager jumped onto a car and stomped on the roof.

Officers were forced to interrupt “multiple fights” as children surrounded, cursed and attacked them.

Police say in a statement: β€œOne officer was pushed to the ground and was continuously punched and kicked by the group.
