Blink-182 star Tom DeLonge sinks to his knees and VOMITS from heat stroke during sweltering Paraguay concert… then finishes show anyway

Blink-182 star Tom DeLonge fell to his knees on stage and vomited after suffering heatstroke during a concert.

The incident occurred this week during the band’s performance in Paraguay, one of the stops on their reunion world tour.

They played a one and a half hour set on Tuesday evening at the Asunciónico music festival in the national capital Asunción.

Temperatures in the city soared and Tom, unaccustomed to the heat, had to stop the show for a while so he could get sick in a corner.

But in a flourish of showmanship, he then returned to his spot at center stage and completed the performance with his bandmates Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus.

Tom uploaded an Instagram post about the incident on Thursday, including a slightly blurry photo of him on stage just before he fell ill.

Although Tom could only be seen from the back, it was clear that he was completely drenched in sweat, foreshadowing what was about to happen.

‘This was about 1 minute before the stroke struck. “I fell to my knees, everything went blurry, then wobbled to the side of the stage and threw up for a while,” he wrote.

‘Awesome. @markhoppus and @travisbarker made up for lost time… man, this wasn’t something I’ve ever felt before,” he wrote.

He noted that it was “95 Degrees” on stage at 11 p.m. But… I came back and finished the show. Because that’s what Navy Seals do… @blink182′.

Footage from the performance showed Tom on his knees in the middle of the band’s 2023 song More Than You Know.

As he morosely walked aside to puke, members of the audience could be heard lovingly calling his name.

Mark and Travis stayed on stage and kept the crowd warmed up while they waited for their bandmate to recover enough to return.

Just as they were getting ready to perform the song Happy Holidays, You B*****d in Tom’s absence, Tom himself sauntered back on stage to sing it with them.

“Are you okay, Tommy?” Mark said at one point. “Tom is throwing up right now, I think. I think Tom is throwing up. If that’s what you want, I’ll take off my shirt,” he teased the crowd.

Travis stayed behind him and played the drums while Mark worked the crowd, the voice in his earpiece asking for updates on his friend.

Tom was gone for so long that Travis and Mark decided to perform Blink-182’s song Happy Holidays, You B*****d without him to pass the time.

But just as they were preparing to perform the song in Tom’s absence, Tom himself sauntered back onto the stage to sing it with them.

“Okay, here’s the deal,” Tom said after the song. ‘I’m better now. I threw up a lot of crap there. It was some crazy s***. I don’t know what came out of me, but it was weird. I think it’s because I wasn’t prepared.’
