Coleen’s comments come after it was revealed that Rebekah Vardy has been ordered to pay £1.5million towards Coleen’s legal costs as a result of their lawsuit against Wagatha Christie.

Two of Rebekah’s companies have released financial figures showing they are heavily in debt due to her ongoing battle with Coleen.

Rebekah and her footballer husband Jamie’s companies were owed more than £230,000, new figures filed with Companies House show.

V9 Academy Limited reported assets of £31,448, but had creditors of £161,337. The company is jointly controlled by Rebekah and Jamie Vardy and John Peter Morris.

BKYV Media Limited had assets of £26,948 and owed £77,157 to creditors. The company is controlled by Rebekah Vardy.

However, 42-year-old Rebekah and 37-year-old Leicester City striker Jamie’s third team look considerably healthier.

V9 Media Limited, controlled by Jamie, with Rebekah as a director, made a profit of £260,000 and paid £50,000 in corporation tax.

This consisted of property and equipment worth £493,139, cash worth £293,786 and other liabilities worth £149,386.

Last year a new company was formed called Wagatha Christie International Limited. Its function is Media representation services and its accounts will not be filed until early next year. It is wholly owned by Rebekah.

Rebekah is expected to pay around £1.5million towards Coleen Rooney’s legal costs after she lost the libel case.

Coleen’s team disputes the ‘disproportionate’ 20 percent of legal costs they were ordered to pay.

A judge ruled in 2022 that 37-year-old Coleen’s allegations that Rebekah leaked stories about her to The Sun were largely true.

Rebekah has always denied any wrongdoing, but she was described as an “unreliable witness” who may have deliberately destroyed crucial evidence, Judge Steyn ruled in the damning verdict in the case.

The aftershocks of the shocking trial continue, with the two sides arguing over the costs of the trial.

In May, Judge Andrew Gordon-Saker reportedly told Coleen and Rebekah’s lawyers to reach an agreement, warning: ‘This could take some time.’

If the two teams cannot reach an agreement, Coleen’s costs are expected to be discussed again at a hearing in October.
