The red carpet wore her dark hair in waves and nude-toned makeup during a Filip Shobot shoot for DailyMail.com.

Blanca also spoke to DailyMail.com about how she stays slim over the holidays.

Turns out she only eats carbs once a week, so that’s a no to pizza, pasta, and bagels six days a week.

“That shocks the body,” said the cover girl, who was recently at an Emilia Perez event with friend Zoe Saldana.

‘My body is not used to a lot of carbohydrates, but it is difficult to cut them out completely. So if I eat carbohydrates once a week, my body doesn’t get used to them and can process them quickly. If you consume carbohydrates every day, your body does not process them very well.’

This comes after Blanca told DailyMail.com she would never use diabetes drug Ozempic to lose weight as she would rather ‘sweat it out at the gym’ rather than rely on the drug.

“I know Ozempic works wonders for people suffering from diabetes, it is a miracle cure for some, but I wouldn’t use it to lose weight,” Blanca said.

‘I don’t judge people who do that, I know it’s incredibly challenging to lose weight. It’s just not for me because I feel like with diet and exercise I can maintain the weight I want.

‘But I also have to admit that I’m lucky, my metabolism is quite fast, so I have an easier time than a lot of people. Everyone should do what is good for him or her and, above all, be healthy.’

Staying in shape is important to the actress, as she tells DailyMail.com she has learned a new way of exercising.

She does strength training instead of intensive cardio – and she does this both at home and in the gym.

‘As we get older, we lose muscle mass; that’s called sarcopenia. So it is important to maintain muscle mass,” she told DailyMail.com.

Sarcopenia is a condition that causes a progressive loss of muscle mass, strength and quality in older adults.

‘If you maintain muscle mass, you not only look better, but you also move better and the risk of injuries is smaller.’

She added, “So I’ve been focusing on mobility, strength and stability. It’s so easy to do, I have free weights at home and at the gym I use the machines. It’s a must for me now.’

She also lost 5kg earlier this year by giving up meat and is eating fish and chicken instead.

‘I think it’s been really good for my waist as my dresses are all loose now!’ she told DailyMail.com. “And I don’t miss the steaks, they’re sometimes too tough.”

This comes after she attended the LA premiere of the Oscar-buzzed film Emilia Perez.

Star Zoe Saldana told Blanco that there was a lot of ‘excitement’ around gritty film Emilia Perez – about a Mexican drug dealer who changes sex – and she’s excited about it, in a DailyMail.com exclusive.

“The performances were excellent and powerful performances,” Blanca told DailyMail.com after seeing the film. ‘And the film offers so much, it is truly groundbreaking.

‘Zoe is being talked about for an Oscar nomination and I understand why. She really does it all, singing, dancing and speaking both English and Spanish.’

Blanca also posed with the film’s main star, Karla Sofía Gascón. “I love being part of this amazing cast, I loved the experience,” Karla told Blanca. ‘These women are brilliant.’

After the film there was a standing ovation. The actors were also seen on stage as Selena introduced the cast.

Selena, who stars in the hit Hulu series Only Murders In The Building, spoke highly of her costars. Selena said, “I hope we make you proud” and thanked the crew for “working tirelessly.”

Meanwhile, her co-star Zoe was also on stage as she commented to the crowd.

“We are grateful that you opened your heart to receive this film,” Saldana said.

She was joined on the star-studded red carpet by longtime husband Marco Perego. The two spouses, who have three young sons, shared a loving kiss ahead of the premiere. Marco, who hails from Italy, wore a dark trench coat with a subtle pattern over a black top, pants and boots.

Blanca, who wore an Azazie dress and YSL heels, also posed with Deerhunter’s John Savage.

Blanco is not related to Selena’s fiancé Benny Blanco, who was also at the event.

Gascon, 52, who stars in the film’s title role, stunned in a ruffled, off-the-shoulder dress.

Zoe plays the role of Rita in the Spanish-language film, while Selena plays the character Jessi Del Monte.

Set in Mexico, the film tells the story of a lawyer who “receives an unexpected offer to help a feared cartel boss retire and disappear forever by becoming the woman he always dreamed of,” according to a synopsis on IMDb.

It won the Jury Prize at the 77th Cannes Film Festival in May, and its female ensemble won Best Actress.
