Blake Lively’s sister stood up for the star on Sunday by taking to social media to wish her a happy birthday, despite the negative reactions to It Ends With Us.
Actress Robyn Lively, 52, shared a series of photos on Instagram of her little sister celebrating her 37th birthday at her best friend Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island mansion over the weekend.
“That’s my birthday party!” Robyn wrote, sharing a photo of herself holding a gold cardboard crown with Blake in the background.
“I love this girl, my sister, my best friend, my little back buddy!” she said, describing the series of snaps in the post.
“You are one of the best people I know. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, sissy britches!” she exclaimed.

Robyn, who like Blake has been acting since she was a child, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories: “Happy Birthday Sissy, ILY” and tagged the Betty Buzz founder.
Blake and Robyn are both the children of talent manager Elaine Lively. Their siblings Lori, 57, Eric, 43, and Jason Lively, 56, are also actors.
Blake recently faced criticism over allegations of behind-the-scenes drama between her and director and co-star Justin Baldoni in her latest film, It Ends With Us.
The controversy hasn’t hurt the film, which is about a woman trying to escape an abusive relationship.
The film was in third place last weekend after three weeks in theaters with a payday of $11.85 million. The drama has grossed more than $242.6 million worldwide.
Many fans agreed with Robyn’s assessment of the situation and her description of her little sister.
“Blake is a sweet person!! I hope she knows the crowd of people who love her far outweighs the negatives. Happy Birthday Blake!!,” one fan wrote.
“Thank you for this,” replied Robyn, who also had a role in It Ends With Us.
“Finally a post about Blake that I can get behind!” another follower commented.

Robyn shared a flashback photo in which she called Blake “my little piggyback buddy.” She concluded the post with the caption, “HAPPY birthday, sissy britches!”
