‘Money grab’: Blake Lively elicits reactions from ‘confused’ fans over launch of her new alcoholic drinks after admitting she NEVER drinks booze
Blake Lively raised a lot of eyebrows on Wednesday when she announced that her Betty Buzz brand will release alcoholic beverages — despite being a non-drinker.
The actress, 35, shared promo photos on Instagram, all of which showed her lifting the lid on her new drink selection.

She claimed the drink line’s excellent quality — with words like “clean” — convinced her to go this route.
Homemade recipes. Real fruits. Real ingredients. Quality drink. No nonsense. Also a real time saver. That’s why I really did it,” she wrote.

Fans were quick to respond to the comments calling out the Gossip Girl star, with one asking, “if drinking isn’t your thing… then how do you know [sic] does it taste correct or good?’
Some said they found Lively’s access to the booze area “annoying” and that her caption seemed like it “shamed” drinkers.
Another teased, “I don’t drink, but you should [HAND ON FACE EMOJI]’
Many hoped that she would introduce “non-alcoholic cocktails”, so it turned out to be a disappointment.
One fan accused it of being a “money grab,” while others compared her to JLo — who also said she doesn’t “drink or smoke or do caffeine.”
It’s important to note that Blake’s husband Ryan Reynolds owns the gin company Aviation American Gin – which he recently promoted for Father’s Day.
