Blake Lively opted not to wear the friendship bracelet she received from a fan during her controversial press conference for It Ends With Us.
At the film’s UK screening on August 8, the 36-year-old Gossip Girl alum decided not to wear the piece because it didn’t match her outfit.
A TikTok shared via AlloCiné showed the brief encounter between Lively and the supporter.
“Oh my gosh, thank you so much,” said a seemingly grateful Blake as she accepted the gift, before adding, “I’m going to put it in the mailbox.” [away] because it doesn’t match my outfit, but I’ll wear it later.’
The mother of four told the fan she thought the gesture was “so sweet.”

Lively, who is married to Ryan Reynolds, wore a glamorous silver strapless gown covered in ornate multi-colored flowers.
The star, who is known for not working with stylists, wore a coral pink feather boa that she draped around her arms.
Her co-star Isabela Ferrer, who plays the younger version of her character Lily Bloom, also received a bracelet from the fan.
In stark contrast to Blake’s reaction, Ferrer immediately slipped the piece onto her wrist.
“Thank you! Oh my gosh, I’m going to wear it. Thank you so much!” the younger actress responded when she received the bracelet.
Lively is currently embroiled in a rumored feud with her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni.
She has also been criticised online for a number of press interviews, including an “awkward” 2016 clip that prompted the journalist to quit her job.
It Ends With Us, a romantic drama based on the novel of the same name by Colleen Hoover, follows Lily as she becomes embroiled in an abusive relationship with Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni).

However, the film has been plagued by rumors of tensions on set, a feud between Lively and Baldoni and an awkward press tour.
Lively and Baldoni avoided each other at the film’s New York City premiere, and there have been several reports painting both stars in a negative light.
Bethenny Frankel also weighed in on the debate, explaining that Blake’s simultaneous promotion of the film and her hair care and cocktail business has angered fans.
What’s going on? [is] “This is a very sensitive subject — the basis of this film — and to promote a cocktail brand and a hair care product and to make light of a subject that is not a light subject for most people, but women in particular… you’re all a very smart audience, and that just doesn’t sit well.
