Blake Lively recruits Paul Hollywood to be the face of her alcohol brand

EXCLUSIVE: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s big UK takeover continues as they recruit Paul Hollywood to become the face of the actress’ alcohol brand

The amazing British takeover of Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively continues after the actress signed Paul Hollywood as the face of her new alcohol brand.

The Bake Off chef will appear in ads for Betty Booze, the high-end range of ready-to-drink bourbon and tequila cocktails, after befriending the American couple.

The 57-year-old Hollywood filmed the clips and posed for photos during a West London shoot on Tuesday, attended by Ms Lively.

It is clear that the material will not only be used in the UK, but also in the US, where the brand will also be sold.

It comes just a week after she and Reynolds – who owns AFC Wrexham football club – visited the Bake Off set where they posed for photos with Hollywood and his co-star Prue Leith.

A source close to Ms Lively, who rose to fame in US teen drama Gossip Girl in 2007, said: ‘Paul is quintessentially British and Blake and Ryan delve into all things UK.

“They think Paul is great and with his big following, Blake thinks he’ll sell a lot of her product. It’s all very random, but she wanted a Brit on board, so she turned to Paul.

“They’ve all become very good friends and Paul is looking forward to watching Wrexham next season.”

Last week, Reynolds and Ms. Lively posed for photos at the Bake Off tent in Welford Park, Berkshire.

Hollywood posted a photo of himself next to Ms. Lively, alongside the caption: “Sorry Prue, Blake (@blakelively) has taken a seat…welcome to pie corner Blake.”

Last week Ms Lively, who gave birth to her fourth child in February, announced she was launching an alcoholic ready-to-drink range, an extension of her Betty Buzz mixer brand, called Betty Booze.

Within the range is a sparkling tequila with oak smoked lemonade, with butter, a sparkling bourbon with apple ginger sour cherry and sparkling tequila with lime shiso.

They are 4.5 percent proof and made with sparkling water, juice and liquor and no artificial colors or sweeteners.

Sharing her news on Instagram, Ms Lively wrote alongside a photo of herself posing with the drinks: “Drinking isn’t my thing. But for heaven’s sake, the taste is. Homemade recipes. Real fruits. Real ingredients. Quality drink. No c***. Also a real time saver. That’s why I really did it.’

However, the star has been subject to some backlash as she confessed that she doesn’t drink alcohol but still profits from selling the drink.

The Betty Buzz logo, the mixer brand owned by Ms. Lively, mother of four, is featured on the AFC Wrexham training kit.

Reynolds, 46, also heads Aviation Gin, which he sold to Diageo for a deal of up to £466 million. He has immersed himself in British culture since buying the Welsh football club in 2021 and has seen shots fired in traditional English pubs.

Reynolds is currently filming Deadpool 3 in London.
