The REAL reason Blake Lively mentioned her and Ryan Reynolds’ kids in bombshell lawsuit with Justin Baldoni
More bombshell claims are emerging from Blake Lively’s lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star, 37, said a lack of protection on set led to her and her son Olin contracting COVID-19.
Not only that, but she also claimed that 40-year-old Baldoni did not notify Lively that she had been exposed to the virus.
Worse, the production had no insurance for COVID delays in filming and Baldoni was upset about the time and money lost when Blake had COVID and couldn’t work.
‘Madam. Lively was told by another producer that Wayfarer did not have insurance coverage for COVID,” the legal paperwork states, and therefore Blake was not notified of her exposure.
‘Sir. Baldoni deliberately withheld from Ms. Lively that she had been exposed to COVID. Both Ms. Lively and her son contracted COVID-19 as a result of the outbreak.”

Lively shares Olin and daughters James, 9, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, with husband Ryan Reynolds.
She tried to raise her concerns with Baldoni and his production partner Jamey Heath, but was shut down, according to the legal documents.
‘Madam. Lively expressed her dismay that Mr. Heath and Mr. Baldoni had concealed the fact that she had been exposed to a COVID outbreak on set, causing her and her child to contract COVID,” the statement began.
“Instead of recognizing their responsibility and committing to future safety, they were angry about the missed production days and the resulting costs.”
When production resumed after the WGA and SAG strikes, Blake had a list of conditions she had to meet before she could resume filming, and she included that list in the legal documents.
“If BL is exposed to COVID-19, it must be notified as soon as possible after Wayfarer or a manufacturer or production manager becomes aware of such exposure,” one of the items on the request read.
In the lawsuit, filed on December 20, she accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment, and launched a smear campaign intended to “destroy” her reputation.
In the court documents, the leaked plan of Baldoni’s crisis management team allegedly revealed the intention to attack Lively in a calculated smear campaign.

Lively’s lawsuit is packed with explosive revelations and allegations, including accusing the Jane the Virgin star of entering her trailer while naked and letting his “friends” watch sex scenes in her movie, along with other activities , creating a “hostile work environment.”
The Gossip Girl star gave birth to her fourth child just months before filming began in May 2023, and she claimed Baldoni treated her like a “sex object” while she was overly concerned about her weight.
For example, on the second day of filming, Mr. Baldoni kept the rest of the cast and crew waiting for hours while he cried in Ms. Lively’s dressing room, claiming that commenters on social media said Ms. Lively looked old and unattractive based on paparazzi photos of the set,” the filing alleges.
Lively claimed she was trying to reassure the director “that she needed to look authentic in the scenes in the photos, which took place just after her character was abused by her fictional husband, rather than ‘hot.'”
The leading lady alleged that Baldoni constantly focused on her physical appearance and “routinely degraded” her by “finding underhanded ways to criticize her body and weight.”
The filing also claims that Baldoni secretly contacted Lively’s fitness trainer, implying that he wanted her to “lose weight in two weeks,” and claiming that he was concerned about having to pick her up for an upcoming scene, even though such a scene was not in the script. .
Lively claimed that when she came down with strep throat, he offered to connect her as a gift with “an expert he had on retainer to help her with probiotics and combat the disease.”
However, when she filled out the privacy forms, Lively discovered that the “expert” was a “weight loss specialist.”

In another incident, Lively, who was nursing her son at the time, wore a low-cut dress to facilitate breastfeeding.
She claimed Baldoni “remarked how much he liked her outfit” and later asked her to take off her jacket in front of “the crew and several background actors in a crowded bar.”
Lively claimed that Baldoni asked her to take off the jacket because he wanted to “see her ‘onesie’ under the jacket because it was zipped up low, exposing her lace bra.”
She added that he allegedly told her, “I think you look sexy,” which made her feel “ogled and exposed,” Lively said.
