Blake Lively played a jewel thief in a very glamorous Fashion directed by legendary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann.
In the film, titled ‘The Heist of the Heart’, Blake, 36, plays the glamorous bandit The Cat, while Hugh Jackman, 55, plays L’Ombre, a man who has his eye on the thief but is secretly trying to have her arrested.
The photos show The Cat searching for a beautiful Cartier High Jewelry necklace belonging to someone else, before being arrested thanks to L’Ombre’s efforts.
The cover sees the It Ends With Us star holding a glittering necklace as she poses in a glamorous black dress with her hair impeccably styled in a sweeping updo.
Set in Monte Carlo, the story opens with The Cat admiring her latest prize: a stolen ruby necklace that belonged to Elizabeth Taylor.

The entire article describes the glamorous story of The Cat, in which she attempts to steal a Cartier necklace from a doyenne.
At a party, Blake is shown in a gold LaQuan Smith dress in a casino. L’Ombre is enchanted by The Cat as he prepares to roll the dice.
However, The Cat seems more interested in the Cartier necklace that The Doyenne is wearing.
L’Ombre is ordered to defeat The Cat, but he still gets close to The Cat despite orders telling him not to.
The day after the casino scene, he meets The Cat on the beach and then the duo explores the area on a motorbike.
L’Ombre drives the motorcycle while The Cat, dressed in a glamorous polka-dot dress by Dolce & Gabbana, happily holds on to him.
But eventually she is captured by the authorities.

In the final shot of the spread, Blake is arrested, her eyes fixed on L’Ombre. He manages to turn his head away from The Cat, however, despite a desire for “one last look,” according to the script.
“As L’Ombre resists the temptation to take one last look… the question lingers: ‘What could have been?’” the script reads.
Blake said in an interview with Vogue in Rome: ‘I dare say it: Baz is my favourite director.’
“I just love Baz so much. Because he celebrates love. Nobody loves him like that,” she added.
Hugh is friends with Blake’s husband Ryan Reynolds and the leads currently star opposite each other in the recently released film Deadpool & Wolverine; the trio were pictured at the premiere of It Ends With Us
When asked if Baz was the reason she decided to do the shoot, she replied, “I’m a very shy person, so I don’t like doing photoshoots, I really don’t. Because when I act, I’m playing a character. And I… I’m not super comfortable in front of a camera. That’s one of the reasons why I don’t want to be in magazines.
“I know I shouldn’t say this, I mean, this is probably the first cover I’ve done in four years. Because I just,” she said before pausing and adding, “I’m just too shy.”
“My life has become more intimate,” she said, referring to the way she focuses more on raising her three children with husband Ryan Reynolds and appears less frequently in films as a result.
“But when they said Baz was going to do it, I was like, OK, I’ve always wanted to work with Baz. Even if it’s just a week to do a photo shoot for Vogue , I’ll still work with him. See through his lens and how he tells stories,” she said.
She said with a slight laugh, “Gracing these pages is not my gift to the world. I understand that I am lucky to be able to do it.”

“They’re megawatt stars,” Hugh told Vogue of the couple during a phone call from London. “These are like old-school megawatt stars… and of course I’ve spent many hours with them, in their pajamas, just hanging out in their house with their 900 kids and dogs and it’s as normal as can be, and Blake will be baking and cooking and saying, ‘Let’s make pizza,’ and then the next thing you know,” he explained, referring to her getting dressed up for an event, “and there she is, this incredible star. It’s… it’s amazing to me.”
Blake and Ryan have been married since 2012 and have three children: daughters Inez, seven, Betty, four, and son Olin, one.
