When asked if Baz was the reason she decided to do the shoot, she replied, “I’m a very shy person, so I don’t like doing photoshoots, I really don’t. Because when I act, I’m playing a character. And I… I’m not super comfortable in front of a camera. That’s one of the reasons why I don’t want to be in magazines.

“I know I shouldn’t say this, I mean, this is probably the first cover I’ve done in four years. Because I just,” she said before pausing and adding, “I’m just too shy.”

“My life has become more intimate,” she said, referring to the way she focuses more on raising her three children with husband Ryan Reynolds and appears less frequently in films as a result.
