Blake Jenner avoids jail time by entering a plea of no contest to latest DUI charge after being replaced in musical Merrily We Roll Along
Blake Jenner has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence in a deal that will keep him out of jail.
The 30-year-old actor was arrested in July in Burbank, California, after police said he ran a red light and failed a field sobriety test.
This was not the Miami native’s first run-in with the law.

The Paradise City star was arrested in 2014 on another DUI charge, but evaded time behind bars by pleading guilty to reckless driving.
In 2015, Blake was charged with driving without proof of insurance and driving with a suspended driver’s license. The What/If actor was released after pleading no contest for driving without a valid driver’s license.
The former Glee actor’s legal woes will be included in the upcoming documentary series, The Price of Glee, debuting Monday on Discovery+, which will look at his legal woes as well as domestic abuse allegations filed by his ex-wife, Melissa Benoist, of 34 years. .

The couple was married from 2015 to 2017 and divorced citing “irreconcilable differences.”
In 2019, the Supergirl star opened up about experiencing domestic abuse, without naming the perpetrator. The actress then confirmed that she would recommend her to her then-husband in 2020.
Following those accusations, the The Edge of Seventeen actor confessed that he had harmed his ex-spouse “emotionally, mentally, and yes, physically.”

The Billy Boy actor also accused his ex of abuse. It was the domestic abuse allegations that may have led to Blake being replaced by Paul Mescal in the musical Merrily We Roll Along, set to film over a 20-year period.
Melissa did not respond to those accusations. The CW stars her Supergirl co-star Chris Wood, 34, in 2019 and the couple welcomed their first child, Huxley, in 2020.
