A jeweler offers a six-carat diamond ring to whoever buys her five-bedroom house.
Nashwa Ahmed, owner of Blackbox Jewellers, thought it would be a great idea to offer a $30,000 bonus on her home in Canning Vale, south of Perth.
The ring is from Ms Ahmed’s jewellery chain, which has four stores in Western Australia and one in Victoria.
Bids for the property are expected to be received through September 24. Listing agent Christy Sajan described the offer in a seller’s market as “exceptionally generous.”
Ms Ahmed bought the house in 2015 for $525,000, located near one of her “high-performing” stores.
According to On the House, similar homes in Canning Vale recently sold for just over $1 million.
The jeweler said she saw the gift as a way to give back to the community, which has been “really good” to her, and said she was “really excited to offer this.”
“It’s a way of spreading happiness… You could say I was adopted by Perth, and I’m very grateful for that,” she told the Western Australian.

Ms Ahmad’s stores are particularly popular with professional athletes, including UFC star Israel Adesanya.
Mr Sajan said such deals had “never been done before”, adding that it was “an extraordinary element in the current, already heated, property market”.
The property’s listing describes the home’s recent renovations as offering “unparalleled refinement and comfort.”
The 3,350-square-foot home features three separate living spaces, a fully equipped theater, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, two carports and a study.

The location is also a plus, as it is close to various schools, shopping centres and public transport.
According to Real Estate, average house prices in Canning Vale have risen 19.6 percent over the past 12 months to $855,000.
While this is a huge increase, it is still dwarfed by Perth’s annual growth of 24.4 percent over the past year.
The increase means the average home in the city is now the fifth most expensive in Australia, at $785,250 – just under $100,000 less than a home in Hobart.
