Black Panther’s Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright and Danai Gurira lead stars at EBONY Power 100 gala

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright and Danai Gurira led the stars at the 2022 EBONY Power 100 gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The cast of their new film was jointly presented with the Culture Award at the star-studded partywhich was thrown at Milk Studios by Coke Zero Sugar.

Lupita, 39, who won an Academy Award for her rousing performance in 12 Years A Slave, impressed in a monochromatic ensemble with flared trousers and crossed sashes.

Meanwhile, Letitia showed off her giddy legs in a popping crimson wrap dress reminiscent of the 1970s and enhanced the effect with matching stilettos.

Danai, on the other hand, exuded the 1920s in a sleek white net dress that bares plunging necklines and drips from the fringes of both the bust and hemline.

All three women, who returned to the Black Panther sequel after starring in the original film, got together to treat the shutterbugs to some dazzling, star-studded group shots.

Chadwick Boseman, who played Black Panther, tragically passed away in 2020 at just 43 years old after a secret battle with cancer, and instead of recasting the role, the sequel has continued with its female costars front and center.
