BJP to win 4-5 seats in Kerala in Lok Sabha polls: ‘Metroman’ Sreedharan

‘Metroman’ E Sreedharan on Sunday said the BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi would definitely return to power at the Center and the saffron party in Kerala would win at least four to five seats in the Lok Sabha polls. He claimed that BJP candidate Suresh Gopi would definitely win from Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency in the state and Union ministers Rajeev Chandrasekhar and V Muraleedharan would win in Thiruvananthapuram and Attingal segments respectively.

Sreedharan, who had unsuccessfully contested as a BJP candidate from Palakkad constituency in the Kerala Assembly elections, also made it clear that he has no plans to return to active politics due to his advanced age of 94 years.

“The Narendra Modi government will definitely return to power at the national level after the elections. In Kerala too, the party will win at least four to five seats. The victory in Thrissur constituency is 100 percent assured,” he said.

Asked about the possibility of contesting from Palakkad constituency if there is a bypoll considering the fact that sitting MLA Shafi Parambil is contesting the Lok Sabha polls from Vatakara, Sreedharan categorically stated that he would not contest and reiterated that he was a candidate. away from active politics due to his age.
