From a Furby to the world’s most advanced ‘humanoid’ robot, ChatGPT is already hooked up to a range of bizarre things.
But the latest use of the AI chatbot is perhaps the strangest yet, as Lovense announced that it has integrated ChatGPT into a sex toy called the ChatGPT Pleasure Companion.
Users can reveal their sexual fantasies to the sex toy before it uses ChatGPT to write a story.
The device then tells the story, with vibrations synchronized in time.
“The higher the intensity of the story, the stronger and faster the toy’s reaction will be,” Lovense explains.

The system is currently in beta and is described as a way to “explore your sexuality and boundaries completely independently.”

To use the sex toy, users must first download the free Lovense Remote app.
There they can reveal their ultimate sexual fantasy, with as much detail as they want, be it characters or locations.
Users can choose from four categories – romantic, sensual, juicy or spicy.
The app then uses ChatGPT to write a story, which is read aloud while the sex toy vibrates in time.

ChatGPT is a large language model trained on a huge amount of text data.
This allows it to generate eerily human-like text in response to a given prompt.
While the feature is still in beta, it has caught the attention of many avid users on Twitter.
One tweeted, “This is the GOOD use of Generative AI.”
Another added, “It’s more than a pleasure toy, it’s your own personal erotic author.” Why dream when you can script?’
And one quipped, “ChatGPT: That’s what all the, ahem, buzz is about.”
