Indian cricket star Ravichandran Ashwin was caught on camera performing a bizarre act at the T20 World Cup.

The veteran off-spinner, 36, was seen wearing two pieces of clothing after his team’s comfortable win over Zimbabwe on Sunday in the MCG – and it wasn’t long before the vision went viral.

Eagle-eyed Twitter user chintubaba uploaded the clip and it has since been retweeted over 7,400 times and generated over 53,000 likes.

Ashwin made sure to pick up his proper match day attire by literally smelling the difference in the attire – keeping one item but throwing the other away if it wasn’t his game day scent.

India’s impressive win saw the men in blue advance to the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup in Australia.

Rohit Sharma’s men face England in a blockbuster semi-final at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday night.

Former England captain Nasser Hussain has stated India poses a ‘massive threat’ because Suryakumar Yadav is the ultimate ‘360-degree player’ when in the fold, coupled with Ashwin’s trickery with the ball in hand.

Yadav’s undefeated 61 from 25 balls virtually ensured India would have no trouble against Zimbabwe as they amassed an impressive 186 total from their 20 overs.

The genius of Virat Kohli – who loves to play in Adelaide – and the strength of Rishabh Pant have English fans on their toes too.

Hussain also stated in his Daily Mail column that England will need Jos Buttler and Alex Hales to fire the bat, while the experience of all-rounder Ben Stokes could be invaluable.

New Zealand and Pakistan will play in the other semifinal on Wednesday.

Melbourne will then host the final on November 13 from 7pm local time.
