  • Her most recent charges related to the sale of fentanyl – a felony – for which she was arrested in October 2022

She tried, but couldn’t hide.

A Florida fugitive was found by police hiding in a couch after weeks on the run due to a probation violation.

Stacy Usher, 39, has faced at least 30 criminal charges and arrests over the years, resulting in her being placed on probation.

Her most recent charge involved the sale of fentanyl – a felony – for which she was arrested in October 2022.

Agents have been searching for Usher since early November after she allegedly broke probation for selling fentanyl and unlawful use of a communications device.

Usher was found Tuesday night, fully disguised and hiding in a couch, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office reported.

After she lost the high-stakes game of hide-and-seek, officers pulled Usher out from under the couch cushions and she was taken into custody.

A bizarre photo shows the moment Usher was found wedged tightly under the sofa cushions.

She wore a messy bun and what appeared to be a white T-shirt and jeans for her hiding spot.

It is unclear how long the Florida fugitive spent in the cramped space.

The 39-year-old also appeared to be holding a mysterious black device when police found her. It’s unclear where the couch was located – or it was Usher’s own couch that she snuggled into.

Before she was discovered in her creative hideaway, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office had named Usher its “Warrant of the Week” on its social media pages.

In addition to selling fentanyl, Usher has a number of other charges dating back to 2012.

The charges ranged from traffic violations to obtaining property in exchange for a worthless check, leaving her facing 13 first-degree misdemeanors.
