Bindi Irwin’s two-year-old daughter, Grace Warrior, certainly inherited her zookeeper’s love of animals.
Bindi, 27, posted on Instagram on Wednesday a heartwarming photo of the two-year-old hugging a turtle at Australia Zoo alongside an almost identical photo of herself as a child posing with the same animal.
She also uploaded another photo of herself cradling Grace in her arms days after she was born, adding the caption, “Holding my newborn daughter as she wonders if she will love wildlife like I did back then I grew up.’
Fans were thrilled to see Bindi pass on her legacy to Grace, commenting, “It’s in Irwin’s blood!” You have the most beautiful connection with wildlife and with each other!’

Others commented that Bindi’s late father Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin would have been proud if his granddaughter inherited his love of wildlife.
Steve died on September 4, 2006, at the age of 44 after being stabbed in the chest by a stingray while filming a wildlife documentary called Ocean’s Deadliest in Queensland.
“The Irwin genes and your father’s spirit are so strong in that sweet little nature warrior,” one user commented.

It is also believed that she could be an even greater entertainer than her grandfather Steve Irwin. She’s so smart and funny,” they added.
While some close to the Irwin family believe that Grace is too young for a life in front of the cameras, her mother Bindi has been appearing on TV since she was two years old.
“You have to remember that Bindi grew up in front of the cameras and was the same age as Grace when she first appeared on television,” a source said.

They added that Bindi is excited about a possible new TV opportunity in the US with a format similar to The Crocodile Hunter – the show that made her parents famous.
“In a few years there will be incredible opportunities, some that Bindi himself is excited about, including a Crocodile Huntress [series] that would be family run, but with American favorite Bindi in the lead,” the insider said.
