Bindi Irwin reveals shocking X-rays of a heart-breaking injury – after opening up about her miscarriage fears with daughter Grace during health battle

Bindi Irwin revealed heartbreaking news on Sunday when she shared an X-ray of a nasty injury on her social media.

When she posted a photo of a koala’s “compound fracture” to her Instagram, the animal’s small arm could be seen in the X-ray with a bone protruding through the flesh.

The 25-year-old conservationist shared another photo of a baby koala clinging to its mother at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.

“This is my sweet little Bottlebrush waiting for beautiful mama Bluebell to finish her check-up at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital,” Bindi wrote alongside the photos.

‘Unfortunately, Bluebell was hit by a car, which resulted in a compound fracture.’

She continued: ‘Thankfully, they are both receiving love, care and treatment from our extraordinary team of vets, nurses and volunteers.’

It comes just a week after Bindi broke down in tears while discussing her 10-year battle with endometriosis.

The Wildlife Warrior appeared on Good Morning America in what was her first television interview, talking about her decade-long battle with the disease.

Speaking to news presenter Eva Pilgrim, the star made some shocking revelations, including one time when she thought she was having a miscarriage while pregnant with daughter Grace Warrior.

‘It’s been a long journey. It’s been 10 long years,” she said through tears.

The Queensland zookeeper explained that she underwent several tests for a diagnosis after experiencing “unexplained pain, fatigue, cramps and nausea” as early as her teenage years.

The conservationist shared another photo of a baby koala clinging to its mother at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, proving the x-ray was of the marsupial.

But at the time, doctors couldn’t find any reason for her symptoms.

Bindi, who shares daughter Grace Warrior with her husband Chandler Powell, revealed there were times when the pain was so unbearable she thought she was experiencing a pregnancy loss.

‘During my pregnancy journey. “I often had moments where I thought I was having a miscarriage because I would have severe unexplained pain,” she continued.

“I would think I was losing our beautiful daughter.”
