Bindi Irwin reveals the heartfelt way she remembers her late father Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin

Bindi Irwin revealed on Monday the touching ways she keeps the memory of her father Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin alive.

Speaking at the annual Steve Irwin gala dinner in Los Angeles, the 24-year-old nature warrior said she continues to honor her father with the help of her family.

“Whether it’s playing one of his documentaries for our daughter Grace, feeding the crocodiles at the Australia Zoo, or nights like tonight,” she shared. E! News.

“I think it’s so important to remember that we all deal with grief in different ways.”

The reality star added that her family’s love and support has helped her immensely in coping with the grief of losing her father at such a young age.

Bindi was only eight years old when her father, known to millions around the world as ‘the crocodile hunter’, died on September 4, 2006 at the age of 44 after being stabbed in the chest by a stingray while filming a documentary about the Great Barrier Reef.

Earlier this month, Bindi celebrated what would have been her parents’ 31st wedding anniversary.

Bindi shared a throwback photo on social media of Terri and Steve posing together on a beach.

Dressed in their Australia Zoo khaki uniforms, the pair are seen smiling cheek to cheek in front of a white ute.

“Such love is eternal. Happy birthday to my extraordinary parents,” Bindi captioned the photo.

Steve’s family has continued their mission to promote and protect wildlife through Australia Zoo, with the family becoming global stars.

Steve is clearly on Bindi’s mind with the star promoting new luxury accommodations at Australia Zoo calling it ‘Steve’s dream’

“I remember being a little girl sitting at our big conference table while my mum and dad made plans for the future with the Australia Zoo team,” Bindi recently wrote on Instagram.

“Dad’s big dream for the future was to create luxury accommodation like no other for our guests,” she added.

“Now that his dream has come true and continues to expand, I hope he will be proud of the love and passion we all put into this project.”
