Baby’s first persimmon! Bindi Irwin dresses her daughter Grace Warrior in a skimpy Australia Zoo uniform as the family wear matching outfits in a cute photo

Bindi Irwin has shared a touching photo of her daughter Grace Warrior in her first custom khaki Australia Zoo uniform.

It is an Irwin family tradition to don the zoo’s signature uniform, which has the wearer’s name embossed in the right corner.

And 23-month-old Grace fit the bill when she showed off her personalized T-shirt.

Proud mum Bindi, daughter of the late Steve Irwin, shared the cute snap with her five million Instagram followers on Tuesday.

In the photo, the Irwins, including Bindi’s American-born husband Chandler Powell, mother Terri and brother Robert, also pose in their matching uniforms.

Bindi, 24, captioned the post: ‘Khaki crew. Wildlife warriors.

Fans flocked to the comments to share their thoughts on the adorable photo.

‘The baby is getting so big. She is adorable and is the picture of her dad. I love you guys, great show,’ wrote one person.

Another said: “The world needs more wildlife warriors like you… Blessings to you for a wonderful week and I hope your summer has been a good one.”

A third commented: ‘They are a beautiful family and I will always love the Crocodile Hunter. I love my grandkids looking at it! I miss you too. God bless you all!’

Robert, 19, also shared the family photo on his Instagram, captioning it: “Family that wears khakis together, stays together… Check out Grace Warrior in her little uniform!).”

Bindi and Chandler first met in 2013 when the Florida native was touring Australia as part of a national wakeboarding competition.

The couple married in March 2020, just before the Covid-19 lockdowns.

Grace is being raised at the Australia Zoo on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, where they live and work alongside the rest of the Irwin family.

Bindi’s father, Steve Irwin, known to millions around the world as ‘the crocodile hunter’, died on September 4, 2006, at the age of 44, after being pierced in the chest by a ray while I was filming a documentary about the Great Barrier Reef.

Bindi was only eight years old at the time.

Following his death, Steve’s family, including children Bindi and Robert, widow Terri and son-in-law Chandler, have continued his wildlife conservation work at Australia Zoo.
