Billy Ray Cyrus’ estranged wife Firerose ordered by judge to STOP using singer’s credit cards in latest stage of their acrimonious divorce

Billy Ray Cyrus has achieved the latest victory in his divorce from Firerose Cyrus.

A Los Angeles judge has ruled that the 36-year-old ex-wife of the Achy Breaky Heart singer can no longer use his American Express business card or any other credit card issued in his name or that of his company.

Billy Ray, 62, alleged that Firerose made 37 unauthorized payments of $96,986.05 into his American Express account between May 23 and June 7. TMZ reported.

He claims he never gave his wife permission to use his credit cards or bank accounts, while she denies it and says she has been allowed to use the I Want My Mullet Back singer’s accounts since she moved in with him in 2022.

Firerose claimed she was maintaining the lifestyle he had already established when they moved in together.

She also argued that she could continue to use Billy Ray’s money for her own expenses and attorney fees as long as they remained married.

Although the judge in this case ruled in Billy Ray’s favor, their rift is far from over.

The Hannah Montana star filed for annulment seven months after their wedding, accusing her of fraud and “inappropriate marital conduct.”

The Australian singer, who first met Billy Ray in 2010 on the set of the Disney Channel series, has accused her estranged husband of emotional and verbal abuse and manipulation.

Firerose claimed in an interview with Page Six Last month, the 62-year-old Achy Breaky Heart singer repeatedly yelled at her and made her feel like a “prisoner” in their Tennessee home during their marriage.

After claiming she had “physically, emotionally and verbally abused” him, Fireose accused the singer of “isolating” her from her friends and family and said he had tried to control her by imposing a set of “rules” for her to follow.

“Billy had very strict rules,” she explained. “I didn’t have a car. I was only allowed to go to the local chiropractor and get my nails done once a month.”

Firerose – whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodges – called it “systematic isolation,” adding: “I couldn’t find the courage to leave.”

She also claimed that her friends and family were not allowed to visit her.

Cyrus’ estranged wife added: “If I had to send a text, I had to read it to him to get permission. Same with email.”

In court documents filed last month in Tennessee, Cyrus denied Fireose’s “mind-boggling” allegations of abuse, claiming she had indeed abused him during their marriage and that she was only after his money.

However, Firerose hit back, saying she had to undergo a preventative double mastectomy because she carries the BRCA1 gene. Billy Ray left her the day before her scheduled surgery.

Billy Ray denied that and her lawyers released a statement.

‘The audacity to question a BRCA-positive woman’s status [sic] The decision to undergo preventive surgery once again shows the cruel manipulation to which Firerose was subjected.

“What Billy Ray doesn’t realize is that when you have a decades-long history of emotional and psychological abuse, people are going to notice. The truth is going to come out.”
