Billy Baldwin and his wife Chynna Phillips shared a rare embrace outside Jayde’s Market in Los Angeles after recently revealing they are living apart.
One day after discussing their unconventional living arrangements, which involved living in different homes and towns in California, the couple was spotted together at a small local market in the Glen Center.
Despite revealing they were ‘bickering like crazy’ before making the decision to spend some time apart, the actor and singer, both 56, who married in 1995, looked happily in love as they met hugged in the middle of a parking lot.
For their laid-back reunion, Baldwin, who starred in the films Flatliners, Backdraft, Sliver, Virus, The Squid and the Whale, wore a light gray T-shirt, jeans and a pair of Converse.
At one point he could be seen with an iced drink and a cat basket with his adorable cat inside.
Meanwhile, Phillips cut a casual figure in a loose white button-down, striped black and white pants and sandals.

She chose to style her long blonde hair in pigtails and accessorized her look with red-tinted glasses and a long light brown coat.
When they left Jayde’s Market, Phillips was carrying a large shopping bag, can of drink and her iPhone.
Their latest sighting comes after she shared a video, posted to her faith-based YouTube channel, California Preachin’, about the surprising way they make their relationship work.
‘Billy and I are kind of in a new kind of arrangement that really works for me. I don’t know if it works for Billster, but I’m very happy with what we’re doing,” she told her followers.
The star later added that the pair have “an allergy to each other,” although Billy insisted it was Chynna who was allergic to him.
It comes after Chynna said the pair were ‘bickering like crazy’ earlier this year and she was ‘walking on eggshells’ for fear of ‘triggering him’.
In her new video, Chynna said they’re doing “a little test run” because they live in separate houses in Santa Barbara and Beverly Hills, but they still meet for “date nights,” as well as “therapy” and dinners with their three children: daughters Jameson, 24, and Brooke, 19, and son Vance, 22.

“I mean, I have to take care of him, I have to be kind to him, I have to be gentle with him, I have to obey him, or what’s the word… submit.”
‘So many people hate that text, that we have to submit, but that is what it says. It says we are to submit to our husbands. So I get all that. And I will, I will submit. But I’ll submit when I’m around,” she said, chuckling.
She added that she and Baldwin can have “sleepovers” and spend time together whenever they want, but that they “don’t force ourselves to be subject to each other’s energy 24/7.”
Later in the video, she shared a FaceTime call with her husband.
“Honey, I called you three times, you didn’t answer,” she told him, to which he replied, “Not everything works on your schedule, sweet bunny.”
As they continued talking, she said of their new living situation, “We’re on to something.”

‘We enjoy each other’s company. “That’s what’s so hard to explain to people: that we’re madly in love, that we really enjoy being together, that we cherish our marriage, that we never want to be separated,” she added.
‘We just need a little time because we have some kind of allergy to each other. And it’s okay, I’m sure many different couples are allergic to each other.’
Baldwin added, “The reality is that you are allergic,” and that he has “a certain energy” that bothers her.
Billy added, “You know how people say, ‘We bring out the best in each other’? Not me. I bring out the worst in her.”
She replied, “I would think that’s true. You’ve noticed that my patience has waned over the past year and a half. My threshold and my bandwidth for your energy has definitely decreased.’
“I think that’s generally true, because of the things we’ve been through in life. We’ve gotten older and you’re in menopause,” he said.
“Oh okay, are you going to blame this on menopause?” she asked.
“No, but that does contribute,” he said.
The star later added that the pair have “an allergy to each other,” although Billy insisted it was Chynna who was allergic to him.
Chynna then told him, “You have to admit, Billy, that I also do things that trigger you and make you frustrated, and that I may do a few things during the week that make you a little quiet, and then you have to treat me a little otherwise.’
He agreed and gave an example of a time when he asked her to stretch his back and she said no, at which point she said she had “back pain” and was in a “bad mood” at the time.
The dynamic couple also joked about “conjugal visits.”
In the caption of the video, Chynna wrote, “Marriage is a roller coaster, but I think I found a way to get off the ride without actually having to ‘get off the ride!!'”
“Billy and I work together to structure a living situation that works for both of us. Maybe we’re crazy, but we think we’re on to something.’
‘Does distance really make the heart grow fonder? Well, we’ll definitely find out.’
She added, “Keep praying for Billy, he’s a little confused about where we stand… That makes perfect sense because I am too. [crying emoji].’
Later in the comments, she reiterated that this move was intended to improve their marriage after some fans voiced their concerns with comments like, “Nothing good can come from this separate living situation.”
Chynna wrote, “Hello friends! Guys, I’m fighting for our marriage, not against it. We have decades of love between us, it’s definitely not going anywhere.”
‘Marriage is deep water and I am deeply shipwrecked! Me and Billy are peanut butter and jelly.”
Chynna previously spoke about the couple’s ups and downs. In April, she said she was “getting involved” with Billy and that they were “bickering and arguing” more than ever since they moved from the East Coast to California.

“It’s frustrating because just when I feel like we’re doing a good job and things are starting to get better, we start bickering again,” she added.
Chynna admits that she sometimes feels like she’s “walking on eggshells” around the actor and gets nervous about sharing her feelings with him because she doesn’t want to “turn him upside down” or “put him in a wants to bring bad mood’.
“It just comes down to I don’t want to trigger him. But the truth is, my fear is keeping us from having real intimacy. It keeps me from opening up to him. I try to protect his feelings, but I still cause more problems in our marriage. “I’m shooting myself in the foot,” she added.
She filed for divorce from Billy in 2010 before quickly withdrawing the papers.
She told me at the time We weekly that she “started to feel a little jaded” during the marriage.
“It was so about the kids and so much about my business, his business, and I missed him. I really missed him. I missed laughing together, going on holiday together.’
And in January, she stated that her increased interest in religion was causing a “power struggle” between her and her husband.
“I’m not the same person I was 30 years ago, and I refused to have the same marriage I was 30 years ago,” she said during a YouTube livestream.

Chynna converted to Christianity in 2022 and revealed in January that her faith had become a “glaring issue” between them.
Billy later appeared on her YouTube channel and said they were still going strong after a six-month separation period.
“It didn’t turn out to be the kind of partnership you wanted or hoped for,” Billy said.
“But I still absolutely love you, absolutely adore you and support you completely. That’s why I’m here now. That’s why we go to church together. That is why we pray together. That’s why we talk about faith together. That’s why I’m doing this for you… It’s because I’m a supportive, loving husband who adores his wife and wants to spend the rest of my life with you, without a doubt.”
