Billy Baldwin and wife Chynna Phillips have moved back in together after opening up about marital troubles
Chynna Phillips confirmed that she and her husband, Billy Baldwin, have moved back in together after speaking about their marital problems earlier this year.
Nine months after saying she and her husband had an ‘allergy’ to each other, the 56-year-old singer confirmed they are no longer living apart.
“Billy called me earlier and he said, ‘I just read another article about how you want to get married and live apart.'” she told her YouTube followers. “I just want to make it clear that at that moment I felt like I needed a little space and that this would be the most logical answer.”
She continued, “I’m retracting that comment and saying now that this is probably a very foolish, very unwise, very destructive, stupid decision because that’s not going to solve our allergy problem.”
Still, she noted that they are still a “little bit allergic” to the other, but that the “allergy medication is communication, being kind and gentle, being more tolerant, and really looking for ways to be kind, supportive, and more playful.” ‘

Phillips explained that she needs “more playfulness” in her life, but that her husband “has a hard time with that.”
“Yes, I wish we could just giggle and be less serious together, but that’s just not his temperament,” she says. ‘He’s getting better and better. He literally laughs more, plays more and finds the humor in things,” she explained.
Since moving back in together, Phillips said Baldwin has been “a great roommate these past few weeks.”
‘I don’t know, there’s been a shift. Maybe it’s me, maybe it’s him, maybe it’s God – maybe it’s a little bit of everything. But I feel like we’re in a much better place. I am so grateful,” she emphasized.
In April, Phillips revealed that she and Baldwin were “going at it” in a video shared on her faith-based YouTube channel, California Preachin’.
In the recording, she stated that she and Billy were “bickering and arguing” more than ever since they recently moved from the East Coast to California.
‘Moving is difficult, it’s definitely a perfect breeding ground for bickering and arguments [with all the] stressors,” Chynna said.
“So Billy and I have been busy working on it the last few days. We just got on each other’s nerves.

“It’s frustrating because just when I feel like we’re doing a good job and things are starting to get better, we start bickering again,” she added.
Chynna admits that she sometimes feels like she’s “walking on eggshells” around the actor and gets nervous about sharing her feelings with him because she doesn’t want to “turn him upside down” or “put him in a wants to bring bad mood’.
‘Billy is my life partner. He’s the one I want to be able to talk to when I feel the most vulnerable or the most upset,” says Chynna, who has been married to Billy since 1995.
‘He’s the one I want to be able to do [come to] but often I don’t because I don’t want to rock the boat or get him in a bad mood. I’m walking on eggshells.’
Chynna, who has three children with Billy, said it was “partly her fault” because she has to learn to “speak out” and “trust that he will be able to handle her emotions.”
“But I’m starting to think that if I share something, it will send him into depression or he will have anxiety,” she added.

“It just comes down to I don’t want to trigger him. But the truth is, my fear is keeping us from having real intimacy. It keeps me from opening up to him. I try to protect his feelings, but I still cause more problems in our marriage. “I’m shooting myself in the foot,” she added.
Chynna also optimistically noted, “One thing I know for sure is that the pain I feel today cannot compare to the joy I will feel for eternity. Sometimes I just have to remind myself of that.’
The Wilson Phillips group member has been fiercely honest in recent months about how her newfound love for Jesus had caused a “rift” in their relationship.
Chynna converted to Christianity in 2022 and revealed in January that her faith had become a “glaring issue” between them.
Billy later appeared on her YouTube channel and said they were still going strong after a six-month separation period.
It didn’t turn out to be the kind of partnership you wanted or hoped for,” Billy said. “But I still absolutely love you, absolutely adore you and support you completely. That’s why I’m here now. That’s why we go to church together. That is why we pray together. That’s why we talk about faith together. That’s why I’m doing this for you… It’s because I’m a supportive, loving husband who adores his wife and wants to spend the rest of my life with you, without a doubt.”
